Why It Was Registered
The Agency describes the Inoue General Partnership Company Zashiki Storehouse as part of the residential layout of a long-established brewery, and registered it for its contribution to the historic landscape.
What to Look For
The Inoue General Partnership Company Zashiki Storehouse is finished in lime plaster, with a molded cornice running round the eaves (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Notice how the one building is divided by floor: reception rooms below, storage for household goods above.
