The Two Buildings

Berry Hall, facing west onto the rotary, is a three-storey concrete building with a chapel at its north end, decorated with buttresses and pointed arches in a Neo-Gothic manner. The Majima Memorial Hall, facing north, imitates a Roman temple with Corinthian columns and a pediment, a fine Neo-Renaissance building (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Two buildings in different historic styles thus frame the rotary. Each is described on its own page.
