The Three Structures

The main hall, in the south-west corner of the precinct facing east, is nine bays by eight and a half under a hip-and-gable roof of full tiles, its inner sanctuary raised under a double-coved ceiling, a large and dignified Shin Buddhist hall (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

The great gate in front of it, in the south-east corner, is a grand four-legged gate with decorated gables on double tie beams, and the earthen walls turn at right angles from either side of it, together giving the front of the precinct its finished look (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Each structure is described on its own page.
