A Meiji Ryotei with a 32-Mat Banquet Hall
The Former Restaurant Kagetsuro (旧料亭花月楼) is a ryotei restaurant of 1904 in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, and was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property (structure) on July 25, 2011 (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

Two Wings Joined at Offset Ridges
The former Kagetsuro is a ryotei restaurant building in Honmachi, the centre of Katsuyama (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Two two-storey timber wings with hip-and-gable pantiled roofs are joined with their ridges offset, the southern wing being a later addition. There are five tatami rooms on the ground floor and ten upstairs.
At the back of the upper floor of the northern wing is a 32-mat banquet hall, elaborately designed with an alcove two and a half bays wide and a ceiling whose battens radiate like the ribs of an umbrella (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
