The Agency notes that the rational plan and careful finish of the chapel show the character of the early work of William Merrell Vories.

The Two Structures

The chapel is a gabled brick building entered through a bell tower at its north-east corner, with a column-free interior under scissor trusses (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

The brick wall runs along the street on the north side, set back at the centre for the main gate, with seven arches shown between its brick piers (Agency for Cultural Affairs). The Vories chapel and the wall built to match it give the church an orderly face to the street. Each structure is described on its own page.
