The Agency for Cultural Affairs records it as a timber gate with a copper roof, 2.4 metres wide, and a timber wall with a tiled coping, 20 metres long; registration number 34-0066, with no owner listed. The main house and the gate and wall of Takemuraya were registered on the same day (Agency for Cultural Affairs). The Japan Heritage portal describes Takemuraya as a Taisho-era inn linked to the film Tokyo Story.
