An Early Muromachi Shrine of the Kusakabe Clan
The Akabuchi Shrine Main Hall (赤淵神社本殿) is the three-bay nagare-style main hall of an ancient listed shrine of around 1381 to 1427 in Wadayamacho Hirata, Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture, and was designated an Important Cultural Property on June 17, 1970 (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

The Main Hall of the Kusakabe Ancestral Shrine
Akabuchi Shrine is a minor shrine listed in the Engishiki that honours the ancestral deity of the Kusakabe clan (Agency for Cultural Affairs). The present main hall is a three-bay nagare-style building of the early Muromachi period.
The front aisle was altered in the early Showa period, but the core of the hall keeps much original material in its brackets, frog-leg struts and carved beam ends (Agency for Cultural Affairs). The design of its gable ends is also well ordered.
