Enuma Shrine
Enuma Shrine (江沼神社) in Daishoji Hachikenmichi, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, has the Choryutei of 1709, designated an Important Cultural Property, and the Chikkeikan of 1900 and the late Edo Baikaan, registered as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

According to Ishikawa Prefecture, Edo-period Daishoji was a castle town of samurai houses, merchant houses and temples centred on the domain residence with its garden and the Choryutei.
The Three Buildings
According to Kaga City tourism, the Choryutei was built beside the river as a rest house by Maeda Toshinao, the third lord of Daishoji, where the lords took tea and fished from the window; it has a shingled hipped roof (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
The Chikkeikan, a two-storey building on the approach, has a raised room and a great hall that preserve a space for formal reception, and the Baikaan, a single-storey house in the north-west of the precinct, has a ceiling painted with flowers of the four seasons; both were moved here around 1966 (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Each building is described on its own page.
Visiting
According to Kaga City tourism, the Choryutei can be visited by reservation from 9:00 to 16:00 (to 15:00 from November to February), for 400 yen; it is closed over the New Year and during festivals; tel. 0761-72-0043.
