A Poet's Thatched Hideaway in the Kochi Hills
Keikiso (渓鬼荘) is a thatched poet's retreat of 1934 in Kahokucho Inono, Kami City, Kochi Prefecture, and was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property (structure) on March 26, 2015 (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
The Agency records a single-storey thatched timber cottage with a building area of 31 square metres, altered in 1964 and moved in 2006; registration number 39-0277.
A Thatched Retreat Built by Yoshii Isamu
Keikiso is the small thatched retreat the poet Yoshii Isamu built for a secluded life in Kochi (Agency for Cultural Affairs). It is a simple building with only a 6-mat living room, a 4 and a half mat study and a broad veranda.
