The Echigo Tokimeki Railway Nihongi Station Underground Passage and Shelter (えちごトキめき鉄道二本木駅地下道及び上屋) is a reinforced-concrete pedestrian subway with a timber stair shelter, built in 1942 at Nihongi Station, Itabashi, Nakago Ward, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, and registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property on September 10, 2019. It links the station building with the north end of the island platform beneath the tracks, and passengers still use it every day.
The passage is 28 meters long, with stairs at both ends, and turns in a U-shape. A timber shelter of 21 square meters covers the stairs on the station-building side. Both were renovated in the 1975 to 1984 period.

The run of windows on the shelter is easiest to see from the station-building side. The passage is a working walkway, so stand aside if you stop to look. The station has no ticket window but does have a ticket machine.
