A Medieval-Style Hall of 1937
The Myokanji Temple Main Hall (Kannon Hall) (妙感寺本堂（観音堂）) is a temple hall based on the Zen style of 1937 in Mikumo, Konan City, Shiga Prefecture, and was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property (structure) on March 18, 2003 (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

A Hall Three Bays Square
The Myokanji Temple Main Hall (Kannon Hall) is a timber hall three bays square with a hip-and-gable roof of formal tiles, facing east and entered on its long side (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
It was designed by a lecturer then at Kyoto Imperial University. The floor inside is boarded, and an open veranda runs around the front and both sides (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
