Ioshi Shrine
Ioshi Shrine (五百禩神社) in Kusubaru, Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture, has a main hall and a kagura hall and worship hall of 1876 and a stone fence and a stone bridge with walls of the early Meiji period, four structures registered as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties on September 10, 2010 (Agency for Cultural Affairs). All four are owned by the shrine.

According to the Nichinan City historic townscape plan, the Taihei dance is still performed in the garden of Ioshi Shrine.
The Four Structures
The main hall, standing at the far west of the precinct facing east, is a tall, three-bay nagare-zukuri hall, clean-lined and sparing in ornament. The worship hall and kagura hall stand before it, with a passage behind the worship hall, forming a well-ordered space for worship; all were altered in 1904 (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
In front of the worship hall a 64-metre fence of finely cut stone marks off the sacred area, and to its east lie a moat with stone walls and a gently arched bridge of local Obi stone (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Each structure is described on its own page.
