A Well-Ordered Space for Worship

The worship hall and kagura hall stand one behind the other in front of the main hall (Agency for Cultural Affairs). The kagura hall, three bays by two under a hip-and-gable roof with a one-bay porch, has a veranda all round.

The worship hall, a gabled three-bay building, projects from the back of the kagura hall; both have square posts and board floors, and a passage runs on from the back of the worship hall (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Together they form a well-ordered space for worship.

Why It Was Registered

The Agency registered it for its contribution to the historic landscape.
