What to Look For

The Suzuki Ryokan Storehouse stands in the north-west corner of the plot, 6 metres by 4 metres, gabled (Kirizuma-zukuri) with pantiles. Its walls are white plaster with a moulded band under the eaves and small windows in the gables (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

The doorway is in the south gable, partly faced in brick (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Small as it is, the Agency regards it as a witness to the inn's prosperity in the Showa era.
