Registered Tangible Cultural Properties of Saga

The Ganshoji Temple Main Gate in Saga, dated 1912 by the temple, is a 4.6-metre four-legged gate with scroll-carved beams, openwork doors and flower lattice sides.

Rebuilt in 1768 on a 1696 stone base, the Ganshoji Temple Bell Tower in Saga is said to have rung the hours for the castle town. It still sounds on New Year's Eve.

Built in 1702, the Ganshoji Temple Main Hall in Saga is among Kyushu's largest and oldest Shin halls: plain eaves outside, carved transoms and a long beam within.
