Tucked into the grounds of Mantokuji—Aichi's famed Peony Temple in Inazawa City—stands the Chinjudo, a small shrine built in 1530 in the single-bay Nagare-zukuri style with a cypress-bark roof. This nationally designated Important Cultural Property preserves the refined craftsmanship of late Muromachi-period architecture, just an 8-minute walk from JR Inazawa Station.

In Kasugai, Aichi, Mitsuzoin's tahoto is an Important Cultural Property: an esoteric pagoda in rare Zen style, the sole medieval building of a vast Tendai temple.

Myokoji Chokushimon in Ichinomiya, Aichi, is a four-legged Zen gate of 1366 and the sole survivor of the 1890 fire, carrying an imperial plaque granted in 1353.

The Important Cultural Property 'Mirrors and Mirror Boxes' at Atsuta Jingu is a rare collective set of bronze wakyō mirrors paired with their original maki-e lacquered boxes, dating from the late Heian to the Kamakura period. With pine, bamboo, and twin-crane mirror designs and boxes adorned with paulownia phoenixes and Mount Hōrai motifs, they reveal the heights of medieval Japanese craft and aristocratic devotion at one of Nagoya's most sacred sites.

Held in the Hosa Library in Nagoya, the Song Edition of the Taiping Shenghui Fang (Kanazawa Bunko Version) is a Southern Song printed copy of the imperial medical encyclopedia originally compiled in 100 volumes by Wang Huaiyin under the command of Emperor Taizong. Designated an Important Cultural Property, it traveled from Hōjō Sanetoki's Kanazawa Bunko through Toyotomi Hidetsugu and Tokugawa Ieyasu to the first Owari lord Tokugawa Yoshinao. The 24 surviving printed booklets, supplemented by 27 Keichō-era manuscript volumes, bear the distinctive 'Kanazawa Bunko' and 'Gohon' seals on every volume, making it a primary witness to East Asian medical history.

Sesshu's only figure painting among his six National Treasures, signed at age 77 in 1496. The monk Huike cuts off his arm to prove his resolve to Bodhidharma.
