Shaonkan, a 1922 wooden annex at Iai Gakuin in Hakodate, was registered in 2005. Its over-burnt brick plinth and banded sliding windows echo the main hall beside it.

Built in 1925 in Nemuro, Hokkaido, Seiryuji Hondo was registered in 2024 for the lions, dragons and phoenixes carved on its porch by Kesen carpenter Hanawa Kikuzo.

Built in 1918 as the Hakodate sales office of Asano Cement, led by the legendary industrialist Asano Soichiro known as Japan's Cement King, this Western-style wooden building features an elegant European-inspired facade with tower-like projections, a fanlight entrance, and a balcony. Constructed by master carpenter Muraki Jinzaburo, who also built the Old Hakodate Ward Public Hall, the building was faithfully restored from a single historical photograph after years of abandonment, earning registration as a National Tangible Cultural Property in 2005.

Built in Sapporo in 1926 for women missionaries, this small three-storey timber house sheds snow off a steep flaring roof. It joined the national register in 1998.
