The Kinryo Fujii Family Residence Main Gate (former Hachimanji Temple Gate) (金両藤井家住宅正門(旧八幡寺山門)) is the gate of the late Edo period, moved here around 1918, at the Kinryo soy sauce brewery in Noma, Shodoshima Town, Shozu District, Kagawa Prefecture, and was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property (structure) on January 31, 2003.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs records it as a single-storey timber structure with a tiled roof and a building area of 12 square metres; registration number 37-0136, owned by Kinryo Co., Ltd. Six structures at Kinryo, the north moromi storehouse, soy sauce storehouse, and the Fujii main house, storehouse, main gate and wall, were registered on the same day (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

The Kinryo Fujii Family Residence Main Gate (former Hachimanji Temple Gate) was registered as a building that has become a model of design. The Agency for Cultural Affairs describes it as a composition of main gate, side gate and wicket, its main gate said to be the gate of the defunct temple Hachimanji.
What to Look For
The Fujii main gate lies south-east of the house entrance and joins the south-west corner of the storehouse. It is 9 metres wide, made up of a main gate leading to the entrance, a side gate serving the counting room and a wicket gate west of the main gate (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
The main gate is a one-bay yakuimon with a hongawara tile roof, said to have been moved from the gate of the defunct temple Hachimanji (Agency for Cultural Affairs). Separate gates for guests and for business visitors are its distinctive feature.
