Taishō

Raised in 1919 by a Kushima family enriched by forestry, the Former Yoshimatsu Family Residence keeps all five buildings. An Important Cultural Property since 2008.

The Kuroki Family Residence Storehouse in Ebino is a two-story early Taisho kura in white lime plaster, with a hachimaki band at its eaves and a mizukiri ledge.

South of the main house, Furusawa Brewery's gate and wall date to around 1923. The bracket-arm gate and an 18-meter plastered wall with lattice windows frame the street.

Furusawa Brewery's shop and main house faces the street of Ōdōtsu. Built around 1913, its black-plastered front and irimoya wing recall a town enriched by brewing.
