The annex runs east-west south of the main house, which faces east in the middle of the site, joined to it by a covered corridor: a single-storey hip-and-gable (Irimoya-zukuri) building with pantiles (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
An eight-mat room with alcove, shelves and writing desk and a six-mat room to the west are wrapped by veranda and corridor, with a bath, toilet and maid's room at the west end (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
