The Kanemitsu Sake Brewery Gate and Wall (金光酒造門及び塀) is the timber gate and wall of the early Showa period at the Kanemitsu sake brewery in Nomio, Kurose-cho, Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property (structure) on April 3, 2020.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs records it as a timber gate with a tiled roof, 1.9 metres wide, and timber walls with tiled copings, 5.6 metres in total; registration number 34-0271. Eight structures at the brewery, the brewing and storage storehouses, packing house, bottling house, annex, well house, gate and wall, and chimney, were registered on the same day (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

What to Look For
The gate and wall run east from the main house in the south-east of the site, 7.6 metres in all, with a one-bay yakuimon gate at the centre (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
The gate sets a flattened crossbeam on its main posts, with double beams carrying a gabled (Kirizuma-zukuri) pantile roof. The flanking walls carry their tiled roofs on brackets projecting from the posts (Agency for Cultural Affairs).
