A Shrine Noh Stage with a Bold Roof Frame
The Tomari Shrine Noh Stage (泊神社能舞台) is a single-storey timber noh stage of the later Edo period at Tomari Shrine in Kimura, Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, which in 2008 was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs records a tiled roof and a building area of 39 square metres, with renovation in 2007; it was registered for its contribution to the historic landscape.
The Agency places it south of the kagura hall.
Structure
According to the Agency, it faces north, gabled with the entrance at the gable end, with a side stage to the west, a rear stage behind and a bridgeway leading off.
The main stage is almost square, 4.9 by 4.9 metres, and the rear stage 2.1 metres deep. The floor is of polished boards, and the exposed roof structure shows a bold frame of beams.

The bold beams the Agency praises are exposed to view with no ceiling. From the front, trace how the main stage, side stage, rear stage and bridgeway fit together.
Kakogawa City dates the stage to the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries and notes its renovation in 2007.
