Dairinji's sutra repository of 1857 is a small plastered storehouse. Its canopy beam is carved with grapes and a squirrel, and cloud-and-dragon work rings the altar.

Dairinji's kuri of 1920 is a modern Zen monastery's living quarters joined to the main hall. Two rows of rooms hold upper study quarters and a board-floored kitchen.

The Takahashi Ameya Main Building in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, is the historic home of Japan's oldest continuously operating candy shop, founded in 1624. This Meiji-era timber townhouse features a distinctive gangi covered walkway and lattice windows characteristic of snow-country merchant architecture, earning its registration as a National Tangible Cultural Property. The shop's signature awa-ame candy was a tribute to the Imperial Household, and the tradition of candy-making continues under the 14th-generation proprietor.

The Takahashi Sake Brewery Chimney in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, is a striking hexagonal brick chimney standing approximately 20 meters tall, built around 1922 during the Taisho era. Registered as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property, this rare hexagonal structure features meticulous decorative brickwork and has survived air raids and major earthquakes over its century-long history, serving as a beloved symbol of the local community alongside its adjoining red-brick brewing storehouse.

Standing on the central avenue of Tsubame City in Niigata Prefecture, the Tsubame Church of the United Church of Christ in Japan is a two-story wooden Western-style church built in 1930. With a kindergarten on the first floor and a chapel above, it long supported the working families of this metalworking town. Locally attributed to architect W. M. Vories, it is one of very few surviving prewar Christian buildings in Niigata, and was registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan in 2021. Its white weatherboard façade, semicircular arched windows, and small gable cross still shape the streetscape of Tsubame today.

Northeast of the main house, this simple gabled shelter of 1885 covered a well used for daily washing; a glimpse of estate life, it now works as a tea cafe.
