The Narumi Tegashi Shrine Saimonden (Ritual Hall) (鳴海杻神社祭文殿) is a structure of around 1917 at Narumi Tegashi Shrine in Haguro, Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, and it was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property on March 6, 2024, under registration number 23-0594. The Agency for Cultural Affairs records it as a single-storey timber building with a tiled roof and a building area of 57 square metres.

Why It Was Registered

The Narumi Tegashi Shrine Saimonden (Ritual Hall) was registered as contributing to the historic landscape of the country. According to the Agency, it stands between the main hall and the worship hall. A long north-south block, 5 ken by 1 ken, gabled and entered at the gable end with a 1 ken porch, has east-west hip-and-gable wings, 3 ken by 1.5 ken, set across its front on either side, all roofed in tile.

Inside is a single boarded room whose floor rises toward the main hall, under a high flat ceiling. The Agency notes that its varied roofs shape the appearance of the shrine front.
