The Koizumi Family Residence Main House in Nikaido, Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, is a late-Edo-period farmhouse registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property in 2009. Its distinctive silhouette combines a tall gable-fronted thatched roof with tiled gable roofs and deep tiled eaves, while the interior preserves an unusual dojo-like plan centred on a great hall. The house reflects the layered life of the Koizumi family, who served as village headmen, sake brewers, and Shinto priests of the historic Hakusan Shrine.

Built around 1902 and expanded in 1919, the Takakura Sabo Nishi-Takakura Dam has stood guard over the mountain village of Seto in Minami-Echizen, Fukui for more than a century. This 19-metre-long dry-stone sabo dam, featuring a distinctive nawadarumi (rope-sag) crest and massive dry-stone masonry, is the only one among twelve dams in the Takakuratanigawa group to be designated a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property.

Standing on a hilltop along the historic Ushikubi Kaidō road, it features a distinctive half-hipped roof, clapboard exterior, and elegant gable design with vertical windows and armored shutters.

Tangando Soan is a hermitage built around 1846 by Fukui Domain physician Yamamoto Zuian at the foot of Mount Asuwa in Fukui City. During the Bakumatsu period, feudal lord Matsudaira Shungaku and reformist samurai such as Hashimoto Sanai held secret political meetings here. The site features a unique storehouse with sukiya-style interiors and a moss-covered garden rich in Shakudani stone.

The Torihama Sake Brewery Chimney in Wakasa Town, Fukui Prefecture, is a 13-meter-tall brick chimney built during the early Showa period. Constructed in English-bond brickwork and connected to the brewery's steam kettle through an underground flue, it was registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property in 2011. Standing beside Lake Mikata, it serves as a beloved regional landmark symbolizing over a century of sake-brewing tradition.
